AC Moate Industries is currently seeking hardworking individuals for the role of an Asphalt Foreman.
Responsibilities for this position include collecting all tickets and receipts for materials, inspecting trucks to ensure all required tools are present, maintaining and repairing machines as needed, professionally executing jobs, reading blueprints and site maps proficiently, reporting job or work orders and safety check sheets, acting as a liaison between management and crew through effective communication, completing pre-route safety checks, notifying supervisors of necessary repairs or maintenance, attending safety meetings, executing safe driving habits, applying material product as assigned, professionally leading and delegating tasks to the crew, and maintaining a positive attitude in a potentially stressful environment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: successful completion of a drug screening, possession of a valid Washington State license with a clean driving record, flexibility to work day and night shifts, as well as out-of-town assignments in Oregon and Idaho, availability to work on weekends, willingness to work in all weather conditions, and a minimum of 3 years verifiable asphalt experience.
