Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work closely with our Marketing and HR Department. This position will be full time at our Saint John IN location. Excellent benefits and growth potential.

We are seeking an assertive individual with outstanding organizational and research skills to fill our Marketing Coordinator role. The ideal candidate will be creative, have fantastic communication skills, and excellent time management. To ensure success, one must be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing platforms.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Coordinating:

• Assist the Marketing Director in developing systems to organize and streamline marketing tasks and projects
• Support the design team by coordinating and collating content to help ensure all updates and changes are handled accurately
• Help plan events large and small including sales expos, contractor cookouts, and hiring events
• Coordinate with print contractors and other promotional vendors to complete larger marketing projects and order supplies/apparel/promotional materials

HR Support:

• Support Human Resources regarding recruitment strategies, event planning, and employee engagement items
• Work with Graphic Designer to enhance our careers page and social media platforms

• Attend employee engagement meetings and contribute fresh creative ideas to help employee retention

Inventory:

• Manage Schillings apparel/uniforms and marketing promotional inventory
• Organize and maintain marketing storage areas
• Expedite orders for promotional products and gifts for employees/customers

Fleet:

• Coordinate truck vinyl installs and help manage small fleet vinyl
• Regularly update fleet photos by working with operations

Billboards:

• Maintain up to date photos of billboards
• Track and help keep a regular schedule to update boards
• Assign billboard updates to designers with guidance from the Marketing Director
• Coordinate billboard installs and structural repairs of Schilling owned billboards

Marketing Tickets:

• Monitor Marketing Requests, assign and prioritize tasks with guidance from the Marketing Director
• Follow up on unclosed tickets to make sure they are completed and closed

Goal Expectations:

• 1-6 Month Goals - Clerical and Administrative duties, monitor and assign Marketing tickets, learn all the basics of the Marketing Department and company procedures
• 7-12 Month Goals - Gain more responsibility, oversee and follow up with completion of department tasks
• 12-18 Month Goals - Taking ownership of department efficiencies, corrections when needed, reviews, and training of new or existing employees
• 19-24 Month Goals - Evolve into a Leadership role, shadowing the duties of the Marketing Director

Requirements:

• Team player with ability to work alone to complete tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows
• Strong attention to detail and math skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Photography skills are preferred
• Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Bachelor's degree

• 2-3 years or previous experience required
